If you ever need a simple tool in Ovationtix to see transactions that you have processed in Ovationtix, then you may just be looking for the My Balance reporting tool.
Using My Balance, you can quickly see the number of orders and refunds you've processed, the tickets you've contained therein, and the amount of money you've taken in from those orders. You can also see details of those orders if you wish.
To access the My Balance tool, hover over Reports, then click on My Balance.
After clicking My Balance, you'll be brought into the My Balance tool, which looks like this:
We're going to start at the top of the page, and work our way down.
The first thing you'll notice is where you can Select Transaction Range, near the top of the screen. This option enables to you to decide on the date range you would like to look at. By default, it starts with the current date, from midnight until 11:59:59PM. If you need to change that date, just input a different date, then click Refresh:
After clicking Refresh, your search results will adjust accordingly.
Moving your way down the screen, you will see a bar above the box office balance information. The most useful part of this menu is the Tools options, which you can see on the far right. If you click it, another menu will open, with options to print, download, etc:
Taking a look at the actual information in the My Balance report, you can see that it breaks down all of your transactions in Ovationtix in the following order:
Gross: The total number of orders you have taken in the date range specified, before refunds. This is also broken down by payment type, lists the number of orders taken, and the total number of tickets
Refund: Any refunds you have processed in the time frame you gave.
Net: This number is your Gross orders minus and Refunds.
At the bottom of the page, you will see a small link that says View Details:
When you click View Details, you'll be brought to a screen that lists each individual order you have placed in the time frame specified, like this:
Once you're on this page, you can click CSV or Excel on the bottom of the page to export your results, or you can click My Balance near the top left to go back to My Balance.
