When configuring FixedPlus packages, you can choose how sales will be allocated: package revenue or ticket revenue.
By default, revenue from FixedPlus package sales will be accounted for under Packages in My Reports. This means a couple of things:
- The tickets contained in the package will have a $0 value on reports, and all revenue will be allocated to the package itself
- For clients using the TheaterMania shared merchant account, net package revenue is paid out by transaction date
If you choose to allocate revenue to the tickets rather than the package:
- You indicate how revenue will be divided between tickets in the package
- For clients using the TheaterMania shared merchant account, ticket revenue is paid out by event date rather than transaction date
If you prefer to allocate revenue to the tickets rather than the package, you can set this in Step 3: Package Details under the Package configuration menu.
It's important to keep in mind that this setting is not retroactive, which means if the setting is adjusted after packages have been sold, how your package revenue reports will be dependent on how revenue was set to be allocated when the package was sold.
