Communications tracking helps to ensure your patrons are getting the right messages from you by tagging patrons as recipients of a communication, giving you more power to target exactly the patrons you want for your next communication.

Communication feature is how you can let OvationTix know which of your patrons you just emailed that Black Friday promotion to and which you sent the direct mail version to instead. Segment your lists by in-state and out-of-state, or on another key data point.
Upload List of Recipients* to Communication History
1: Select Method of Communication (Communication Type)
2: Define Segment, if Any, for Patron List Being Added
3: Upload Patron List CSV File
*You should already have a list of patrons with existing OvationTix profiles that have received this communication via the selected type and belonging to the segment indicated. Typically, Patron Report is used to grab the patrons you want to send to.
Repeat Previous Step for Each Communication Method & Recipient Segment Combination
Once your historical communication activity has been created and associated with the correct recipient patrons, a filter option for communication history can be used in Patron Report to achieve sharper targeting and a cleaner engagement experience for your patrons.
