When setting up a private gateway, such as Authorize.net, PayPal's PayFlowPro, or CardConnect, one of your options is general address verification settings. These allow you to determine how strict you would like to be regarding address information entered as part of a credit card sale. It is important to note that the more restrictive you are, the greater the likelihood your patrons will experience credit card declines.
Below is our recommendation for these settings in Authorize.net. To review and adjust these in Authorize.net go to your Account Settings, and choose the Address Verification Service.
