It's important to know how to quickly access order history, patron records and household records in Ovationtix.
The fastest way to find what you're looking for is to hover over Search from the top main menu. Here, you will get three options: Order Search, Patron Search, and Household Search.
Selecting to search by Order, will give you the search and filter options below. As you can see there are many pieces of information you can use for your search. In this example we used our patron first name, Darwin, to find all order history for patrons with that first name. Now, we could use the green button to pare down results based on time period, or select orders only taken by the Ovationtix user Christian Miller etc. Your results will display below the Search tool, and include clickable Order ID's and Patron First and Last Names. This information is specific to orders, so naturally, this search will give you orders that match your search criteria in some way.
Something specific to note about the Order Search tool is the option to search by barcode. If you enter the barcode number, you can pull the order for the tickets linked to that barcode.
The Patron Search feature allows you to search for a specific patron or list of patrons based on multiple pieces of information. This search will produce a list of patrons and includes their Patron ID, email address, mailing address and more. You can click through from the search results directly to any patron record.
Something specific to note about the Patron Search feature is that at the bottom left you will find two green buttons; one to Add an Individual and one to Add an Institution. Here, you can add new patrons to your database manually with only a few pieces of required data.
Finally, the Household Search feature will allow you to find specific Households using either the household name or id#. The search results will include a report with Household Name and ID, a list of members of the household and the status of the household (active/inactive).
All search results can be exported to CSV or Excel.
