OvationTix now offers Booking Protect!
Booking Protect gives your patrons the option of purchasing ticket refund protection, and you get some of the revenue from those purchases.

Managing BP in OT
To access your Booking Protect options in OvationTix, hover over Tools, then click on Purchase Protection.
Once you've clicked Purchase Protection, you'll be brought to a screen where you can edit your settings for Booking Protect.
Let's go over these one at a time.
Enabled: Whether Booking Protect is turned on or not for your account
Sales Method: This lets you decide how your patrons will purchase Booking Protection. If you click on the arrow next to Required User Choice, you'll see another option, Opt-In.
Required User Choice: A pop up will appear, which will prompt the user to make a choice. They will need to make a choice in order to continue with their order.
Opt-In: The user will see the option to choose whether to accept Booking Protect or not, but they will not be forced to make a choice
Taxable: Whether there will be tax on the Booking Protect charge or not. This is only relevant if you are charging tax on your sale in OvationTix.
Vendor ID & API Key: You will be able to get both of these from your Booking Protect account after activating it. They need to be inputted into these field for Booking Protect to be activated on your account.
Activating BP in your Series
Booking Protect needs to be activated on a series by series basis. To do this, first click on the name of any series from your OvationTix homepage:
Click Ticketing Settings on the left hand side of your screen:
Check the box next to where it says "Enable purchase protection for this production?"
Click Save on the bottom of the screen:
