Did you know that you can customize the Order Confirmation email that your patrons receive for a specific series?
To do this, click on the Order Confirmation tool under the Manage Emails header from the left hand side series menu.
The first thing you'll see on the Order Confirmation page is the Hero Image upload. This is a place to upload any image you'd like! It can be series specific, or not. Just keep in mind that around 600px wide is a good max width for an email header image. You can also use the alignment buttons to choose left, center or right alignment for your image. Of course, you do not need to upload anything here if you don't want to.
The next section in the tool is the Confirmation Description. This is where you include the information you wish to send on to your patrons with their order confirmation. Remember, everything you include here is on a series specific level. So, this means you'll be adding this description just for the series you are currently working in, and not globally for all series built in your OvationTix account. This also means, that for every series a patron purchases within the same order, all confirmation descriptions entered for each one will be included in their order confirmation email!
The following section allows you to add specific text for when specific ticket types are purchased. For example, you might want to add a note for all student ticket purchasers that a student ID will be required at the door. To do so, you would just enter the desired text in the field beneath the corresponding ticket type name. To add more, just click on the Add text for ticket type button. Here are a few examples:
Finally, you can send yourself a preview of what you have built to any email you'd like by using the Preview Email tool at the bottom of the page.
Once you are happy with your results, just click the green Save button below and your series Order Confirmation is complete!
