Whoops! You created an extra event. Don't be embarrassed, it happens. Even better, it can be deleted.
That's right! An event in OvationTix can be deleted, as long as it doesn't have any tickets sold, or if it sold tickets, but those tickets were moved to another event.
However, if a series still has orders in the Who's Coming List, or had tickets sold into it and then refunded, that event can never be deleted.
Also, keep in mind that we're talking about individual events here, and not series. Series in OvationTix can be Archived, but never deleted.
First things first, get into the series with the offending event by clicking its title on your OvationTix homepage. In this case, we need to delete an event in the series General Admission's Last Stand.
Now that you're in the series, find the event that needs deleting. In our case, it's a duplicate for the 2/23/19 8:00pm event. Get into that event by using the date pull-down in the middle of the screen.
Now that you've pulled up the event, click Edit Event.
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen, and click Delete Event.
A pop up will appear asking if you really want to delete the event. Click OK, and you're all set!
If you scroll down to the bottom of the screen, and you don't see the option to delete, check to see if you have any orders in the event - they'll need to be moved before deleting. If you move the orders, and you still can't delete, that means an order was refunded at some point. Cue the sad trombone music, because that event can never be deleted. The best you can do is change the Sales Settings to unavailable, so no more tickets can be sold.

Now, go forth and delete!
