Patrons in the same Households can now share flexible package benefits! This means that if you have two patrons (or more) in the same Household, and one of them purchases a Flexible Package, you can decide if you want various members of the household to have access to those benefits!
This is a feature made possible by the new Household Record feature - for more information on that, Click Here.
To get started, click into any Household, then scroll down until you see the Benefits section.
You will see a list of Flexible Packages owned by patrons in the Household.
To start assigning benefits, click Assign to the right of any package.
A pop-up will appear that enables you to assign package benefits to any patron in the Household.
Put a check in the box under any patrons you would like to have access to the Flexible Package in question. Keep in mind that if a patron purchases a package, they will always have access to those package benefits. When you're done, click Confirm.
All patrons selected will now be able to redeem tickets from the package in question, and all patrons will pull from the same pool of tickets. In other words, if you have a Flexible Package with 5 tickets in it, and you assign it to 5 patrons and they each redeem one ticket, that package won't have any tickets left in it.
If you want to view all Flexible Packages owned by all the members of a Household, click View All.
On this page, you will see every Flexible Package owned by the members of the Household you're currently viewing.
There are three tabs at the top, which you can use to select the packages you'd like to view:
Active Benefits - Flexible Packages that have not expired and still have redeemable tickets
Inactive Benefits - Flexible Packages that have expired and/or do not have redeemable tickets
Recurring Benefits - Flexible Packages that are active and recurring
Similarly to the Assign button on the main Household Record page, if you click Assign here, you'll be able to assign package benefits to patrons in the Household.
There you have it! Bottom line, members of Households can now share Flexible Package benefits. Patrons won't see too many changes when they redeem online - they'll just notice when you give them access to those great package benefits.
